The youth department as a whole, both teenage girls and boys, are now involved in this program. We have an entire itinerary prepared for them. We start off with a guest speaker which could range from a Deacon or a Deacon's wife, to an average church member. If you haven't been asked to speak yet, don't worry because your turn is coming up!   We are trying to give the teens more and more role models from within our own church.

The girls are in charge of cooking a meal for the entire youth group and the boys are responsible for setting up the tables and chairs. We have implemented a new class within this program. The boys now have have a manhood class taught by Bro. Paul Ehrenfeld, while the girls have their charm class taught by Mrs. Dinges. In these classes, the teens learn basics on how to handle themselves as young adult men and women. Pastor is also very involved. He does our afternoon preaching which is specifically geared towards a teenager's needs.

It has been a blessing to see some of the teens grow in the Lord and start to make decisions. If you are a teen and are not involved, you are missing out on a great thing! You are not only missing out on the lessons that could be learned, but you are missing out on great fellowship and making friendships that could last a lifetime. We all hope to see you there this September.
