Giving the care of your child over to someone else can be an uncomfortable experience. At People's Baptist Church we understand your concern and do everything within our power to make both you and your child feel comfortable.

Experience

As a matter of policy, every nursery worker at People's Baptist Church is a mother who understands the care and responsibility that goes with raising a child.

Safety

Background checks are performed on all nursery workers at People's Baptist Church and only nursery workers are permitted in the nursery.

Parents who drop off their children are supplied with a tag and a pager. Children cannot be retrieved from the nursery without the tag. If any problem with your child should surface at any time, you will be contacted immediately using the pager.

Nursery Services

People's Baptist Church provides three nurseries in three separate rooms for all services; an infant and one-year-old nursery, a two-year-old nursery, and a three-year-old nursery. Two nursery workers are present at all times in each room. A nursery is also provided for choir practice and for soulwinning.

Rules

Infants are not permitted in the service and must be kept in the nursery during the service.

First time visitors must fill out an informational card about their child in order to assist our nursery workers with the care and feeding of your child.

Sick Children

Sick babies and toddlers are not permitted in the nursery. If your child has experienced fever, vomiting, and/or diarrhea within the previous 24 hours; any symptoms of childhood diseases such as scarlet fever, measles, mumps, chicken pox, or whooping cough; a runny nose with any colored discharge; sore throat; unexplained rash; skin infection; pink eye and other eye infections; or head lice, we request that you keep your child at home so as to protect the other children in our care. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
